Donald Trump shows no signs of backing away from his call for all Muslims to be banned from entering the United States despite the revelation that a group connected to Al Qaeda used his words in a terror recruitment video.

"Maybe it's not politically," Trump said on CBS' Face the Nation. "There's a big problem out there and we have to solve the problem."

The problem is "a very, very deep-seated hatred that's going on" among Mulsims around the world, he said.

"They use other people, too," Trump said, "What am I going to do? I have to say what I have to say and you know what I have to say? There's a problem. We have to find out what is the problem and we have to solve that problem."

Trump said Muslim hatred of Americans is bigger than global warming, which scientists warn will cause a sea level rise that will flood many coastal areas in coming decades. He said it was "so sad to watch" President Obama talk about climate change as the biggest problem threatening the future of the United States.
