UPDATE: Trump deleted the controversial tweet, replacing it with one that replaced the Star of David with a circle.
An image tweeted by Donald Trump to attack Hillary Clinton as the "Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!' is either anti-semitic (if you like Clinton) or right on target (if you are a Trump supporter.) It has created a fury online.
Trump wrote: "Crooked Hillary -- Makes History!" in the tweet promoting a Fox News poll about negative views toward the presumptive Democratic nominee. That's not new rhetoric for the presumptive GOP nominee.

The controversy is the choice of graphics for "Most Corrupt Candidate Ever!' It is a red six-pointed star. Some might argue it is just a shape. Others may be a sheriff's badge. But Clinton supporters who think Trump is a dangerous racist might see the Jewish Star of David, suggesting Clinton is using the symbol to make a subliminal antisemitic statement.
"Accidentally" uses a Star of David on Twitter. Sad! https://t.co/gSQyvgmmjD-- lefthandluke (@lukedones) July 2, 2016
Every six-pointed star is not a Star of David. This is just a normal hexagram star. https://t.co/SE5M4kHpOZ-- Audit The Media (@AuditTheMedia) July 2, 2016
